i think it's true...
my son likes to use english to write...
i don't know why.

Actually i am excited to hear about that. Just for yy, once I meet my son, I can have a nice conversation with him in English, and I don't need to put effort in studying Japanese.

it's a nice dream.But think about the fact is Japanese english is actually terrible.especally the letter"L"and "R".
but now, to me, i begin to make mistakes between R and L, when i print the chinese.
i was used to use L,but it should be R
this is the most terrible thing to me!

i think it's the thai
-------------------------
they also got some accent, and i am not sure whether thailand is included in east asia
And find Johnny really want to develop his entertainment corporation to the world, with cd promoted in sweden, and some ppl (2nd dog) are nominated in Oscar

Ha ha, it is actually a thing worth being proud that by comparing among the east Asia, Chinese have the best pronunciation
=========
i think so.
i don't no why, some taiwanees's engligh are terrible,too.
Their pronanciation is strange.
korean also have the terrible pronanciation.

i have study japaness for just two month, but now i have already used to speak "sudori" instead of "story"
it's so terrible!!
--------------------------------------
if I want to sing Osaka Romance in KTV, i will also pronounce sudori. There is such a word in the lyric of that song

sometimes my english will be influenced by japanese pronanciation.
like some word, tabako, i cannot pronance it in english.
when i see tobacco, i will say tabako =0=

pronunciation? r u kidding? singaporean is the last? well I'm not singaporean but they r actually english educated since primary...so it can't be them to be the last...
---
we are talking about accent here. you know the singaporeans speak monotone...like the indians. although thier first language is english, they speak with a strong accent.
22 汗2006/10/24 5:41:00
talk about pronunciation, i think
chinese>hkness>japanese>>>>>>>>>taiwanese>>>>>>>>>>>korean>>>>>>>>>>singaporean
at least it is how it looks in my school and my circle
==================
actually, that is just we think so,'coz we are more familiar with chinese accent rather than the others..
but to the local speakers...many countries have got better pronounciation than chinese..
27 |||||||2006/10/24 5:46:00
i meant pronunciation...
not english level
i hate the"la" and "ba",etc. they add at each end of the sentences.
i thought they talk this way with chinese ppl for fun
but i realized that's the way they talk after hearing some conversation between singaporeans and native born english speakers.
it really drove me orz

funny how Chinese on this board thinks they have the BEST pronounciation!!
I didn't know Chinese people have such sense of humour!
But then again, we are at XQ so I guess it's the "Entertaining Spirit" factor!
LOL
-----------------------------------------------
er, I am sorry maybe what I mean is by comparing with the country in east asia, as I first stated

sorry ppl~
tiny interuption.
just want to say, i really hate the way japanese speak english. what's more they like to add english to everything.
eg utawara special ...they pronouce words like
special == spe sha lu
real == ya lu etc
it's just annoying. took me ages to figure out what yalu is, malaysians and singaporians' accent i don't mind. 'cos i can at least understand them
ignore the typo if theres any
89 whatever..2006/10/24 16:22:00
i seriously don't see the point in this commotion over here yeah?
what's everybody's point in discussing whose's pronounciation is the best? it can jolly well be HK, Chinese, or whatever in your opinion might deem, alright?
well, i am a singaporean but i think our pronounciation is fine... at least we are ABLE to communicate perfectly with foreigners and we used to have teachers from countries like the states or new zealand.... our teachers did not have a single problem understanding us at all ^_^
but anyway, in my own personal view, i reckon that filipinos's pronounciation are pretty good too~ they have this accent that i like...
