To make a long story short, I was in San Francisco yesterday with my family and
just happened to see
Hina strolling by!!! with two cameramen. WTF, I know. I watched as they
filmed him walking along the street for about 30 seconds, and then head
to their parked SUV, and then I went up and asked him if he was
"Murakami-kun" and he said yes, and there was lots of awkward silence
on my part (because I only remember a bit of high school level
Japanese, and even that was five years ago :\) but he was
so very nice
and asked me "are you Japanese?" (I'm not) and "do you live here?" (I
do) - all this in Japanese, of course ... I 100% understand now why
Ohkura(?) said that having Hina around on talkshows makes him feel more
comfortable!
(I didn't bring a thing with me yesterday, had even forgotten my own
phone at home, so I had to borrow my father's phone to take the
picture, which is why it's such shoddy quality. :( And I was too aware
of JE's No Pictures rule to try and sneak a photo from closer up...)
So, of course, I totally forgot to ask what he was doing in San Francisco -_-;
Since
his cameramen didn't have much equipment (there wasn't, for example, a
mic with a major TV channel label) I assumed it'd be for one of their
own shows? maybe? like Ariehen Sekai or Can!jani? Has anybody heard of
overseas filming for any of their shows? x_x I'm sure you can imagine
how much I'm dying of curiosity, so... any ideas? ^^;
