xxx, a student of yours posted a text in a forum on 2nd June asking if anyone could be online during her exam and discuss with her by reading her exam questions and let her write down the final results on her exam paper as her own answers.? She uses the word “gunner” in her text, which means a person who sits in an exam for someone else in Mandarin Chinese. ?When others queried about whether she has the right to do so, the student immediately claimed that the whole thing was under the professor’s permission.

The whole matter is so ridiculous that I cannot believe that she was telling the truth. ?I have sent this letter to confirm this matter with you and if what she said was true, then please let me doubt your school’s principle.

She claimed that the instructor acquiesced students' availability to internet during the exam, and she would be able to discuss questions and answers with the online helper to complete her work.? I cannot believe that cheating like this would happen in UC Davis. It is so ridiculous! I would be really disappointed with UCD if it was true.
