今天晚上CA播了最新一集的GG,话说次播出时间真是鬼使神差，变化莫测啊！

一下是转CA饭的report credits to genki at FF

rufus picks up a card that allison's lover alex sent her and asks her to meet him somewhere in town. There is an awkward moment cause dan/jenny are there.

later rufus goes to have head to head with alex...but learns that allison spoke to him earlier (few days earlier)....rufus confronts allison about this...they breakup later in the episode ( and I don't even ship them...just can't stand allison)

rufus calls lily...they have an awkward convo...where she asks why he called and he says nothing than finally merry xmas...and lily prattles on about spending xmas in some island retreat with bart.

at the end of the episode rufus calls lily...but she doesn't pick up cause bart proposes to her in front of erik and serena

rufus leaves a longwinded message in the snow about how much he misses her. its so sad that I nearly bawled

DS Action

-serena and dan go on about xmas stuff
-vanessa (will the girl ever go away? ) gives him the ultimate present by entering his story into a writing contest...it gets published
-serena spends most of the episode racking her brain for a present...she gets dan an expensive present which he says he can't take and they strike a deal about not spending more than 50 bucks on a present. on her way out of the cafe vanessa smugly offers to help her choose the perfect present for dan...serena says thanks but she'll manage.

eventually serena relents calls vanessa for help. they end up arranging this intricate fake winter wonderland for him. during the planning blair notices vanessa is a little to into this...and pulls her aside to get an extra pair of scissors (i love blair) and says that she thinks vanessa likes dan a little too much and vanessa gets all snotty and oh really...so blair says she should know that she's watching her... (ha! love it)

later serena calls dan to tell him to come to the gallery which was decorated in snow stuff with a snazzy bed int he middle...(i am hoping vanessa didn't come up with that one cause it distrubs me) and dan tells serena that the story was about the day he met her and shows her the original notebook version of the story (which is titled 10-8-05).

Dan and SErena do the nasty....later they snuggle in bed all post-coital like...i was spoiled and I was hoping they'd done it on the floor....(but I'll settle for this )

Blair stuff--there is a lot...


Blair is all excited about her dad coming and is thinking she can convince him to stay..she is surprised when roman shows up. They all go skating in the park together including elanor. Roman can't skate. He starts flailing about like a freak and blair reaches out her arm like she's gonna catch him only to trip him... HA I love Blair she's so entertaining.

Blair is wondering whats up with chuck and starts texting him like mad. She even asks him at one point not to tell what happened between them....and chuck texts back with "who would I tell" and a pic of him and nate. To me it seemed like she sort of missed him and wondered why he wasn't going after her while at the same time paranoid that he'd tell nate what happened...

blair finds out about roman's scandalous ex...and arranges to have him show up at the xmas party only to her dads chigrin....she gots caught out because apparently elenor is just like our blair.

elenaor points out that blair may act like an adult but is still a little girl who needs are daddy (aww). Can I say Blair's dad needs to be shot in the head.

anywhoo he makes it up to her by showing her a cd of pics of his house in france which includes a room for blair...blair is happy now...

话说这集的剧情还真无聊的可以...不打算看了

那你说我还是抓紧时间找房子？我已经给学校的housing department发了两封信，而且已经完成了online的application但是人告诉我说每个房子都有waiting list所以看样子on campus的apartment不太可能住上了！我市非常想住on campus的那种一个人或者两人间的！毕竟安全啊！那边联系了一个学姐给找房子，到现在还没收到信儿，因为大部分的中国留学生都住在我也忘记了的一个离学校不远的社区里吧！现在就看能不能租下了！

那个车本我真的不想考啊！但我这人一旦认准了就全力以赴的那种，累一贼死，最后连车都没让我开，刚开出1米，那考官告诉我说我没有看左侧的镜子，我说我看了，人告诉我说我看镜子时候头部摆动幅度太小，属于不注意四周安全状况，就让我下车了，NND我还没有开啊！我anti此人

你那里果然是大城市啊！我去的那地方没有公交系统的，出门只能靠腿或者车！我去了那里第一件事就想考车本啊！

我听说US是可以上午过交规下午就考道路，然后就拿本的！上帝保佑我吧！

LZ君...学校的housing都这样的，临时找根本没有opening

其实就是方便/安全一点而已...其他方面按俺的经验看学校的房子绝对不如外面的好

在学校的classified网页上面找找吧，或者是craigslist上

大家都住在那个社区就从那里开始找

可以先找个sublease的和别人share，这种一般只住几个月没问题

等学校什么时候有了消息再搬

美国的公寓并不是那么难找的，尤其是LZ君现在也不怎么挑的

等呆得久了自然就知道怎么样的地方才是好的了

P.S.考路试动作要做得很大才行啊，不然他找茬你还真没话说

说实话我这人也不是完全不挑的！俺想找个离学校近的！因为毕竟刚去没车，得走路10分钟左右能到的那种啊！进中国留学生会的yahoo group有几个合适的，又便宜又还不错，350-450左右，还包水电，但是发信过去的时候已经被人租了！

我就怕万一晚上有课的话，房子要太远，回去的话不方便啊！第一个月说实话多少钱俺都得住啊，我现在打算申学校最贵的那个apartment试试，你说可能性大不大？反正吃亏倒霉就一次，先有个安心的落脚的地方比较实际啊！一月750左右

要是最贵的不给俺住的话，俺就只能去住学校的宿舍了，因为听说非常不好，三人一屋，一人一间，一月将近500左右！而且合同一签说就一年，违约还得赔钱！

而且还是一年的lease，将来熟悉了情况绝对要换的，我可以打赌

远近的问题...其实要有公车就还好，晚上9/10点还是ok的，公寓的广告上一般也都有说这个，LZ注意看看

学校最贵的那个是可以试啦，但是也未必好租，因为会有couple申请那种地方的吧...

我觉得还是尽量找off campus好，不是中国人也好的

中国人都在的那个区你记得名字不？用"名字 apartment" 关键词google一下

你选了自己在的城市，然后Housing下面选room/shared（或者是apartment，如果你要自己住的话）

用区的名字做个search就有一堆出来了

这里的房子似乎都要deposit的，就是押金吧！这个我要付给谁？房主？

你说像我这样的是不是应该考虑先在那边住两天hotel，然后开始找房子！这样比较好呢？我现在是一下了飞机就没地儿去了！

deposit一般都是给房主，等你租期满搬走之后再还给你

优先考虑可以租给外国人的

如果国外的不给租但是看着好，就给他打电话/发e-mail联系

别说是外国来的，就跟他约个时间去看房子（当然是要你去了之后的那几天）

至于你刚去那两天么...大学有emergency housing/transit housing么？

我们这里是有的...虽然贵不过比宾馆还是便宜点的

P.S.我突然觉得LZ同学真胆大，房子都没有还拖着那么多行李就过去了...下午到的话天很快就黑了啊= =

我都佩服我自己！我爹娘更神奇，我们家现在连箱子都没买呢！

我娘每天晚上在看电视剧，我到现在都感觉不到要走的气氛！

我觉得我真是生长在神奇的人家里，上帝保佑我傻人有傻福吧！

我现在的计划

Plan A 住两天到三天酒店，一天大概50多美金，抓紧时间找房子

Plan B 凑活着住一个学期的宿舍，一个月500多美金

我该怎么办啊！苍天啊！万能的XQ啊，保佑我找到个房子吧！

Orz让他们帮忙啊...不是独立自主的问题而是事情真的很多

走之前怎么也要去查体看牙齿做个头发吧，到这边就没钱/时间了

而且圣诞节都放假，要抓紧时间了

我10月的时候也就是一星期看了6，7个公寓后定下来的

这鬼地儿没公交，我又没车，真要住了，这以后交通是个大问题啊？难道我去了先买个自行车？
